Eat Well. Live Better: Introducing Eden Life Harvest
I created Eden Life Harvest to make healthy living feel more doable, especially for those of us who are juggling a lot and trying to figure out where to even start. Eating well and taking care of yourself shouldn’t feel like a burden, and with the right tools and support, it doesn’t have to be.
5 Habits to Help You Pause. Reflect and Reset Your Well-being
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and while we’re in the thick of spring when everything around us seems to be blooming and moving forward, it feels like the right time to pause, reflect, and reset. Just because life is moving fast doesn’t mean we feel like we are. And sometimes, the noise, the pressure, or even the pace of “keeping up” can leave us mentally and emotionally worn down or off track.
Wellness Begins in the Home: Understanding the Connection Between Your Home and Health
When I first started my wellness journey, I thought healthy living was just about food. Eating better was where I began, and it opened the door to a new way of life. But the more I learned, the more I realized that wellness isn’t just about what’s on my plate, it’s about everything around me.
Beginning My Homestead Journey 🌱🍅
My babies are officially passing the seedling stage and gearing up to produce! Watching them grow from tiny sprouts to strong, thriving plants has been such a rewarding experience. Learning to grow my own food has deepened my appreciation for the process, the patience, and the abundance that comes from a little effort and care.

Spring Garden Seeding & Early Sprouts 🌱
Finally, a break in the weather gave me a chance to prep my soil and plant a few more vegetables. I was excited to get my hands in the dirt, but I quickly realized I didn’t buy enough soil. Rookie mistake! About 80% of what I’m growing needs at least 12 inches of depth, so I had to get creative—redistributing what I had to one side of the bed until I can grab more.
Spring Garden Prep: Round Two
I’m gearing up for my spring garden, and this time, I’m switching things up! Instead of a full garden bed in the yard, I’m bringing the operation up to my balcony—three stories high.
Last spring, if you remember, Florida squirrels wiped me out. 😭 They feasted on my seedlings, dug through my soil, and left me with nothing but empty garden beds and broken dreams. This year, I’m hoping Texas squirrels have better manners. 🤞🏽
Supporting Fresh & Local: A Visit to Fresh Houwse Grocery
Remember when Tezya and I talked about the importance of shopping fresh and local? Well, this is exactly what we meant!
Today, we had the chance to stop by @freshhouwse for the grand opening of their new location on the South Side of Houston—and let me tell you, this place is a game-changer.
Volunteering at Westbury Community Garden
Today, I had the opportunity to volunteer at Westbury Community Garden in Southwest Houston alongside my girl Tezya.. The weather was a little chilly, but the energy and warmth of the people there made it feel just like home.
Why Farmers Markets Should Be Your Go-To for Fresh, Healthy Food
This past weekend, I linked up with my girl Tezya to visit Urban Harvest Farmers Market and as always, it was a reminder of why I love shopping at farmers markets. We’re both passionate about health and wellness, especially when it comes to where our food comes from.
Harnessing the Power of Intention in The New Year
Embracing mindful journaling is a way to harness the power of daily intention and shape your reality by inviting positivity, clarity, and purpose into your life and fostering a lifestyle of constant evolution and self-improvement.
juicing + wellness
After recovering from COVID-19, I started juicing to improve my diet and strengthen my immune system. Before going plant-based, my pallet was really limited, and my mind was closed to trying anything new. Converting to a plant-based lifestyle changed all of that.
the miracle tree: my holistic journey to wellness and herbalism
As 2022 came to a close, I found myself on a path of personal development and wellness that would come to define my year ahead. Rooted in my growing passion for nutrition, health, and wellness, I set out to achieve several goals that would not only transform my life but also better equip me to share knowledge with others within my community.
honey + wellness
I never realized how much I relied on Honey until recently. I use it in so many different ways - from cooking and baking to juice and herbal tea, to making homemade skin products and even home remedies for my allergies. As someone who's conscious about consuming things positive for my health, I've been trying to make better choices when it comes to the ingredients in my pantry and Honey is no exception.
meal prep + wellness
Meal prep isn't a new concept for me, it’s a practice I began years before I transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle. If you've been following my personal socials on IG, Facebook, and TikTok, you know that I enjoy spending my Sundays on meal prep. When time permits, I try to share real time what’s going down in my kitchen on a Sunday evening. For me, meal prep is the number one way I’m able to stay on track with my eating and it also just starts my week off with a healthy, fresh mind set.
Volunteering at Infinite Zion Farms: A Powerful Lesson in Community & Sustainability
Today, Kev and I had the dopest experience volunteering at Infinite Zion Farms Urban Community Farm. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Mr. Prince, who was not only an amazing guide but also a wealth of knowledge on agriculture, sustainability, entrepreneurship, environmental science, and farming techniques. His passion for the work they’re doing in the community was undeniable, and it made the experience even more meaningful.
